Let me first greet you all a happy new year! Yup it's 2009 and I'm sure you all have your own New Year's resolution and I hope you are all able to do them this year. But do you have a resolution for your fantasy basketball teams? I guess not. So let me share with you some resolutions that might help your team this coming year (including next season's draft). This list is for fantasy addicts and people basketball don't basketball much about their teams.
I will draft better
Your team is struggling right now because you didn't do your research during your draft so make sure you do your homework next season.
I will fix my roster everyday/every week
Do yourself and the people in your league a favor...fix your roster. Most competitive people want to win but they want to win with some fight from their opponents. And yeah, you're there to win right?
I will not add/drop 300 moves
Yup, there's no written rule regarding this but with the rate their going, some people just might reach 200-300 moves by year's end.
I will not offer or accept stupid trades
This is just a league killer. Let's all be smart with the trades given we offer and respect our league.
I will give 10% time to my gf/bf instead of fantasy basketball
OK..maybe just 5%. But you should just dedicate the 5% teaching her/him how to play so she could fix your roster in case you're out of town and don't have any net.
Hope you had a fun holiday season everyone! Let me know if you're planning to do this or if you have any other new year's resolution for us, fantasy managers.
